WHO WE ARE

We are an independent, non-denominational network of micro churches in the greater Asheville and Western NC area.

OUR LEADERSHIP

Our network of micro churches exists to worship God and follow His Son Jesus, while reaching people in Asheville and the surrounding Western Carolina mountain region with the gospel. We desire to "de-centralize" traditional Sunday church, and through the vehicle of micro churches, be used by God to make disciples. As individuals and as a network we are not perfect, but we hope you will find a family of believers striving to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do as Jesus did.

Our Beliefs

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and is able to make us wise to salvation (2 Tim 3:15-17; Heb 4:12-13).

  • We are committed to loving God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength and loving our neighbor as ourselves (Matt 22:37-40).

  • We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, is the only way to the Father, and is the head of the church (Mark 1:1; John 14:6; Col 1:18).

  • We are saved only by the grace of God, not by works (Eph 2:8), though grace always leads us to good works (Jam 2:14-19). Through faith, repentance, and baptism into Christ, we accept the free gift of forgiveness, salvation, and the Spirit that comes through Christ (Acts 2:38-39) our only mediator to God (1 Tim 2:5).

  • Our mission is to join him in making disciples of all nations (Matt 28:18-20), to always remember the poor (Gal 2:10), while becoming transformed more into his likeness (2 Cor 3:18) and living lives of holiness and love (1 Jn 2:6).

Together, we can work towards fostering a culture of love, compassion, and support within the network of micro churches throughout Western North Carolina.

2019

We are a nondenominational church in Asheville, NC - a Jesus Centered network of micro churches that seek to bring the love of the gospel of Jesus, while cultivating authentic relational communities throughout Western North Carolina.

A YEAR OF DISCERNMENT

In 2019, the leadership was led by God to bring the idea of becoming a decentralized micro church network to the congregation. For a year we prayed, discerned, discussed, and sought the Lord together. At the end of this discernment process we concluded that God was calling us to transition from a traditional prevailing model church into a micro church network.

2020

We are a nondenominational church in Asheville, NC - a Jesus Centered network of micro churches that seek to bring the love of the gospel of Jesus, while cultivating authentic relational communities throughout Western North Carolina.

HARD LAUNCH + COVID-19

In January of 2020, we hard launched our micro church transition beginning with one micro church meeting per month and quickly having to pivot because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We also established our independent non-profit status as a 501(c)3.
